The Bakugan Brawlers board game is basically a game based on the TV-show. Created by Spinmaster it’s a fun and entertaining way to discover the world of Bakugan.

Each player takes turns shooting the marble-like Bakugan at the metal cards which have been placed to make up the play area. If the Bakugan lands at the right spot on the card, it will spring open and stand on the card, taking control of the card. When two Bakugan stand on the same card, they fight, using their strength, plus bonuses on the card they are attempting to control. Play continues until all areas are controlled, or one player’s Bakugan have been eliminated. The winner is determined by the values of the areas taken, and other bonuses accumulated in play.

The box contains 26 chess piece, 54 cards, 30 paper tokens and 1 game board.

It’s a great way to play with your children. Recommended minimum age is 5 years.

Reviews of the Bakugan Bakubowl New Vestroia are pretty varied. Some love it, others think it’s a piece of junk.

“…I don’t think it’s cheap at all, in fact I love the idea that we can “twist” it, back to a small shape that will fit, along with the bumpers, in the (included) storage/carry bag. He looks at his Bakugan alot, but with this he is actually wanting to play the game. I don’t know how much of that is due to the fact that he is older than when he first started collecting, but this encouraged him to get them back out…”

As I mentioned before, not everyone likes the Bakubowl, as you can tell from the following review by AO:

“…I like the case it comes with and I love that it is a light weight frisbee fold up type of a thing so it doesn’t take a lot of room. I don’t like it because the ramps aren’t secure, they just sit there. The ramps move if you throw a bakugan at it so basically they are useless. I like the mat because it looks more “official” when you are playing, but you definitely don’t need it to play the bakugan game. If you are tight on money buy more bakugans instead and don’t bother with this.”

Reading about the Bakugan Dragonoid Colossus, I didn’t really get what the big deal was about (then again I’m not a kid anymore). I didn’t understand what the descriptions meant with dropping the Bakugan to open it…let’s just say I’m technically challenged. So to avoid further embarrassment in front of the kids, I decided to do some late night browsing on YouTube. The Bakugan Dragonoid Colossus is one of the hardest to get Bakugan toys at the moment. Most shops don’t have them in stock. And chances are they will sell out quickly once they do stock up. Especially with the holiday season coming up.

The biggest part is the Dragonoid Colossus transformation hub. Then you have Battalix Dragonoid Bakugan, 4 battle gear pieces, 4 battle gear reference cards and 1 gate card.
All the pieces are manufactured in injection-molded plastic. This ensures the toys will be easy to transform, no matter how much your kid plays with them.

Each of the 4 pieces (Axator Gear, Beamblitzer, Nukix Gear, and Blasteroid) has its own reference card. These cards explain how to use the pieces in the game.

With the special code that’s included, kids can go online and interact with other Bakugan gamers after activating their character

The mix of physical game play, imagination-based play, and animated media creates a whole world around Bakugan and enhances its ability to appeal to a wide variety of interests, skill levels, and ages.

The Bakugan Dragonoid Colossus is for kids age 5 and up. That said, an adult will need to assemble the toy first. You’ll also want to make sure your kids learn to properly close and load the pieces onto the hub. It’ll take a little practice.

All in all, it’s another engaging Bakugan toy that can be used as is, or in a game.

I’m not sure whether it’s the same as the Haos Bakugan Naga. I think though that it’s the brawler that’s delivered with the Nintendo DS game “Bakugan Battle Brawlers”.

I don’t think you can buy this Bakugan seperately. You could try to find the Bakugan Naga on eBay if you don’t want or need the NDS game.
